Hi, people of the world
Haven't done much here in a while; it doesn't feel like anyone's listening... But I'm gonna post some links on some forums or something and become a blogging mastermind!! I'll be rich, I telll you!! You'lll see!!! You'll all see!!!!!! *disturbing giggles...*

Ok, I lied. I do know how I came to create this blog. My IT teacher told me to. And now we've got to write about bloggers who've been arrested. So...
It seems that in America and a lot of developing nations with oppressive governments, bloggers who write freely can get into a lot of trouble.
President Mugabe in Zimbabwe is being given plenty of trouble by Zimbabwean bloggers, apparently. One free thinker wrote in his: "Everyone knows Mugabe is going to rig the results, but can he cope with a massive turnout of voters?", which probably won't make Mugabe too happy.
CNN says that in the troubled nation of Myanmar, one of the very few outlets of information is through a Londoner's blog. He receives smuggled information and photos from as many as 40 people in Myanmar and then, armed with only a laptop, he releases the often horrifying information to the world.
In 2002, hardly anyone in the world's most populous nation, China, even knew what the word 'blog' meant. After a chance encounter between a software engineer from Shanghai and a teacher in a remote Chinese province, blogging has exploded and shifted power to the people. China's government is not happy.

Morning Musings
Saw Kingdom of the Crystal Skull over the weekend. Don't want to spoil anything, but it has some elements you'd be prety surprised in an Indiana Jones film.
Going to see Iron Man on Sunday; should be good.

Got Ninja Gaiden 2 and PGR 4 on my 360. Both very good. Blew up Krishan repeatedly on Crackdown. =-)

Best of Youtube
I found a hilarious video podcast on iTunes a few days ago, called Best of Youtube. It's a must if you use iTunes, but if you don't, they have a website as well.

TinyURL is an extremely useful tool that not enough people know about - it lets you shorten all those massive web addresses to allow you to link them in blogs, emails and things. It already has over 2 billion hits per month, but eeryone should know about it.
